Hi Annika, I am currently living in the back of a camper van at Yallingup beach WA, so I enjoyed your writing about Jerome. My partner Grant was somewhat like that, and died in Perth in February. I had treatment for a life-threatening illness last year and (naively) thought it would be me first. It is hard to be left behind. I like your writing because you address things that matter.
